Convert into black and white photo
In Photoshop’s earlier days, convert a color photo to black and white was not as easy or as instinctive as it is today. At least, not if you care about the consequences. Back then, numerous Photoshop users merely detached the color from the image, either by desaturating it or by converting it to Grayscale.
These systems were swift and effortless and to convert a color photo can still be worn today. But they suggest no control over what the black and version will appear like. They simply throw away the color. And a color image, rapidly without color, often looks flat, deadly and motionless.
Let’s see how you can convert a color photo-
Open an image and click the new fill or adjustment layer icon
Choose Hue/saturation adjustment layer
The layer panel will show the adjustment layer above of the image
Drag saturation slider all the way to the left
Hide the hue/saturation adjustment layer
Click new fill or adjustment layer to convert a color photo
Panel showing 6 colors and set the default values for the sliders
